The event is organised by the Heritage Officer Deirdre Burns and the Arklow Coastcare Group and the Brittas Bay Coastcare Group. The exhibition is the result of a photo contest which was opened by the distinguished environmentalist, author and coastal photographer Richard Nairns. There were a number of winning entries which were judged by contest sponsors  Wicklow News and the papers photographer Mick Kelly.
